I've had pretty mixed feelings about the blogging world for some time now. Yeah, there are some really good ones out there, but most of them are just people's feelings about their own lives. Content that relates to the greater world is rare on a lot of these sites. There was a time when if people wanted to write about their thoughts and feelings, then they kept them to themselves in little books called "journals," and if they wanted to have their thoughts read, then years of intense journalism school, or heaps of true raw talent were required. But these days, any idiot with a smart phone or a library card can put whatever they want into the open air for anyone to read. And I'm now one of those idiots.
I don't know what this blog will be about, really. All I know is that I like bikes, music, and boozin', and I really enjoy writing. So here it is, for the world to see, but it'll more likely be no one. Which I'm okay with.
